About DOJ ITSS 5
American Ops is a Prime on the DOJ IT Support Services (ITSS-5) $4.5 Billion multiple-award IDIQ contract vehicle. It provides DOJ components and bureaus with IT planning, systems engineering and development, PMO support, cyber security, infrastructure, and operations and maintenance services. This vehicle provides favorable procurement and task administration conditions to DOJ bureaus and OBDs for tasks that would otherwise be procured through a lengthier open market competitive process or through other external contracting vehicles.
The contract provides for every conceivable IT service can be procured under the ITSS-5 program in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Key aspects of this contract allow it to include the entire Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) For various types of information and management systems. Procurement of hardware and software, as related to a specific project, is allowed under the SDVOSB ITSS-5 program. Additionally the contract is available for use, on a non-mandatory basis, by all DOJ components to satisfy their IT requirements.
